Buy Quality Golf Irons for 80% Less than Name-Brand Irons ... And Start Hitting More Greens!

Maybe you've figured out how to hit your driver down the middle. Maybe you're a pretty good putter. But unless you can get your approach shots close to the hole, your scores can still suffer.

Irons are the golfer's scoring clubs. If you can hit your irons close to the hole, you take a lot of pressure off your short game and your scores will definitely improve.

Unfortunately golf irons are the most expensive part of your golfing equipment to replace because you need to replace so many clubs. That's why most people put off buy a new set of irons. But ...

A New Set of Irons Can Dramatically Help Your Golf Game.

That's why clone golf irons are a great choice for most golfers. One of the best discount clone manufacturers online is Gigagolf. They offer quality clubs that built like name brand clubs and play like name-brand clubs. Cheaper clone clubs just try to look the same, but are poorly made and play like crap. I've tested dozens of clone irons and found the ones from Gigagolf to be the most like the "real thing."

How Can I Afford a New Set of Irons?

So ... if you can afford to buy a new set of Ping or Callaway irons, then you probably wouldn't be here reading this article. But IF you could afford it, or IF you could justify the expense to your spouse, you'd to it, right? Here's the great thing -- you CAN get a new set of irons with all the same advanced technology, for about 1/3 the price of conventional, brand-name iron sets. I know. It's exactly what I did.

You see, my golf game was suffering. I had spent a lot of time on my tee shots, and had added 20 yards to my driver. I spent countless hours working on my short game and had nearly eliminated 3 putts from my game. Unfortunately, I found my score was not getting that much better. It was my iron game that was suffering. I couldn't seem to follow up a good drive with a good iron shot -- at least not consistently enough. Some holes I'd play like a pro. Then the next hole I would shank an 8 iron so far to the right that I'd be embarrassed to go retrieve my ball from the other fairway.

I was practicing my iron shots, but I could never seem to find a groove. I finally decided it was time to try some new clubs. To my dismay, all the new iron sets by major golf companies were well out of my price range. So I did a little research and found out that most of the money I would be paying to these big companies was going toward player endorsements and advertising. Investigating further, I found there were highly reputable companies selling nearly identical clubs for discount prices. They were using all the latest in shaft and club head technology, but didn't pay endorsement fees to professional golfers and relied upon word of mouth advertising rather than expensive commercials on TV and in magazines.

Clone Irons - the Missing Link

Once I ordered my new set of Callaway clone irons, I was nervous that maybe I had made a mistake. I think they call it buyers regret. But once the clubs came and I saw how great they looked, my fears subsided. But looks aren't everything. How would they work on the course?

The first thing I did was take them out to the driving range. I started with the pitching wedge and worked my way up through the set of irons all the way to the 4 iron (I didn't bother buying a 3 iron since I can't hit it well and use a hybrid instead). THe first thing I noticed was that the ball seemed to jump off the clubface. The shots ware going at least 5-10 yards farther than my old irons. This was a nice bonus, thought not the real reason I bought the new clubs. I wanted more accuracy, and that was the second thing I noticed.

The shots that I struck well were going nice and straight as usual. It was the mis-hits that impressed me. When hit a bad shot off the heel or toe of the clubface, I was not losing much distance and the ball was still going relatively straight. The waywardness was now more of a slight push or pull, but not with any severe hooking or slicing.

The clubs set up great, were nice and light, and gave me great confidence to be aggressive with my swing and overall were the missing link in improving my score to where I wanted it. The clubs complimented the improvements I had made with my driver and short game. Overall, my new set of clone golf irons improved my 18 hole score by 3.5 shots. Maybe that doesn't sound like a ton, but it was a pretty significant advance for me when I had felt my golfing progress had hit a wall.

New irons won't fix your swing (I suggest you try one of the golf swing training aids reviewed in this link.) But they will help you out when you don't quite hit it flush. I don't know about you, but for me that's about 80% of the time. That's why new irons are a great way to lower your scores.
